File formats
- Vector preferred: AI (CC 2018+), PDF/X-4, EPS.
- Raster acceptable: TIFF or PSD at 300 DPI at final size.
- Embed all fonts or convert text to outlines.
- Place all images, don't link.
Colour profiles
- CMYK: FOGRA39 (coated) or FOGRA47 (uncoated).
- Pantone: spot colors as defined Pantone Solid Coated values.
- RGB files will be converted; we'll send a proof if conversion shifts brand colors meaningfully.
Bleed, safe zones, and trim
- Bleed: 3 mm on all edges of every panel.
- Safe zone: keep critical artwork (text, logo) 4 mm inside trim.
- Trim line: solid 0.5 pt magenta on a layer named "TRIM" (not printed).
- Score lines: dashed 0.5 pt cyan on a layer named "SCORE" (not printed).
Special finishes
- Foil & spot UV: provide as a separate spot color, 100% coverage, on a "FOIL" or "SPOTUV" layer set to overprint.
- Embossing/debossing: provide a grayscale art layer indicating depth (white = no emboss, black = max).
- Die cuts: thin solid 0.25 pt magenta line on a "DIECUT" layer.
Dielines
We supply free dielines for any structure in our catalog. If you have a custom shape, we'll engineer the dieline from your spec or sample. All dielines come as AI and PDF, layered, and labeled.
